Meet Scout
Scout was sitting in a small-town outdoor dog pound, set to be euthanized the very next day. Thankfully, we had the space, so we went and picked him up. He was only 3 months old, scared and dirty, but this little guy started showing us how smart he is right away. On the way to the shelter, one of our volunteers took him to the vet for a checkup. She put a leash on him and he walked perfectly beside her. Calm, brave, and so well-behaved the whole time! 60% Border Collie, 34% McNab (two incredibly smart breeds!) High energy and in need of plenty of exercise An awesome companion in the makingScout would thrive with an active family, a jogger, or even a rancher with the skills to train him. Just look at those ears and that sweet, curious face! This boy has already beaten the odds once. Now he's ready for a family to call home.
