Meet Scout

Hey there, I'm Scout! I'm a young, female dog who's ready to take on the world with my new best friend. That's where you come in! I'm an adventurous pup always up for trying new things. I'm super smart and curious, and I love exploring and learning about the world around me. I'm also affectionate and love snuggling up to my favorite people. I'm athletic and playful, so I'll be your perfect partner for all sorts of activities, whether it's a game of fetch or a leisurely walk. I'm also friendly and always up for meeting new people. So, if you're looking for a loyal and loving companion to keep you active and entertained, I'm your girl! Come on, let's embark on this journey together! Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $210 (or $270 for puppies). All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard. Since all our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please send an email to scpdogworld@gmail.com so that the Dog Coordinator can let you know if the dog will be at the Saturday Adoption Event at Petco.
