$50 adoption special! Meet Selene, a beautiful 1½-year-old, 81 lbs black Lab mix with soulful eyes, a playful spirit, and plenty of love ready for the right person. She is a young, bright girl who enjoys toys, gets excited for walks, and is extremely food-motivated—making her a wonderful candidate for continued reward-based training. Selene walks fairly well on leash, especially with consistent handling, and she is ready to trade kennel life for a real home, a predictable routine, and someone who will help her settle in at her own pace. Like many young dogs who have spent time in a kennel, she has some pent-up energy to work through. She will thrive with an experienced dog owner who understands that decompression, structure, exercise, enrichment, and patience go a long way.
