Meet Shadow

Meet SHADOW! This precious gem was sitting in a shelter and barely made it out alive. He got his second chance because a foster stepped up and said YES—and that one decision saved his life. Shadow is a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix and quite possibly the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet. He won’t leave your side because all he wants is to be close to his person and soak up every cuddle he can get. Just looking at him is enough to make his tail start wagging! Shadow loves everyone he meets and has been the belle of the ball everywhere he goes. He’s incredibly chill and easygoing—even at a dog-friendly gym, he calmly hung out while his person worked out and eventually curled up for a nap. He’s also wonderfully non-reactive when other dogs bark at him on walks. He whimpered a little when first crated for bedtime but settled down and fell asleep like a good boy. Sweet, affectionate, social, calm, and the biggest snuggle bug—you’d never know this incredible boy was just days away from losing his life. A foster saved Shadow. Now it’s time for a forever family to give this amazing boy the happily-ever-after he deserves.
