Meet Shelly

Hi! My name is Shelly and I am looking for a forever home. I was picked up as a stray by Animal Control and taken to the local shelter where, after my hold time was up, I was in danger of being placed on something bad called "the list ". Fortunately for me, my plight came to the attention of BCAA who said they would help me and got me sprung from that place ... yeah! I am about a year old and weigh just a little over 25lbs. I look like a sheltie mix with my beautiful soft coat, but my foster mom says that's not really important 'cause I'm just one cute and sweet girl with the bestest personality. I love getting attention and playing with whoever wants to play, whether 2-legged or 4-legged. I have gotten along with all the other dogs I've met and haven't paid much attention at all to the cats I've encountered. I have done well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of my bedding, but I would really prefer to be out with you. I will pull a little on my leash when I first go out in my excitement of going on an adventure, and then I get better as I love going for walks and exploring.
