Howdy, partners! My name is Sheriff Woody, and I am a 2-year-old hound mix searching for my forever deputy. I might have a big name, but I’m actually a pretty gentle, shy guy who needs a little time to realize you’re a friend. Once I know I'm safe, my true hound colors shine—I am incredibly sweet, gentle, and love quiet chin scratches. My absolute favorite thing in the universe? Other dogs! When I see a furry canine buddy, my tail starts wagging and my confidence instantly goes up. I would absolutely thrive in a home with another friendly dog to show me the ropes. The best part? I already have excellent house manners! I am completely crate trained and potty trained, so I'm ready to keep your home in tip-top shape. If you have a calm home, a dog sibling for me, and some patience to let me blossom at my own pace, I promise to be the most loyal companion you've ever had. You've got a friend in me!
