Meet Sherman - shy sweetheart

Sherman is with our partner rescue in LA and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter Meet Sherman, an 8-month-old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix weighing about 15 pounds. This little guy didn’t have the best start—he spent much of his early life confined to a crate, so the world still feels a bit scary to him. Sherman is shy and may run and hide at first, but he is not mean—just a gentle, scared puppy who needs time to feel safe. With patience, love, and a calm home, Sherman has so much potential to blossom into a loyal, loving companion. He’s looking for someone willing to go slow and show him that life can be good. If you have a soft spot for the shy ones, Sherman is waiting for you. Sherman is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. He is neutered and has a microchip. His adoption fee is $6 00. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
