Marigold’s story did not have the easiest beginning, but this sweet girl is more than ready for her happy next chapter. She arrived at the shelter as a stray and underweight, unsure of the world, and looking for more than her next meal. She was looking for safety, kindness, and someone to love. Now healthy and thriving, Marigold’s beautiful personality is blossoming. She is gentle, affectionate, playful, and happiest when she is spending time with her people. She loves attention, stuffed toys, sniffing out new adventures, and following her curious nose wherever it leads. Marigold is also an amazing hiking and running companion. She has plenty of energy for outdoor adventures but is incredibly sweet and gentle along the way. Whether you are exploring a new trail, heading out for a run, or simply enjoying a quiet moment together, she will be thrilled to join you. She is good with other dogs and has done wonderfully during dog meet-and-greets. She enjoys making canine friends and could be a great match for a playful dog with similar energy. Marigold can be a little scared or cautious around men when she first meets them, but patience, calm energy, and a few kind words help her feel safe. Once she trusts you, her loving personality shines through. She is still learning some of the routines that come with living in a home, so she will need a family willing to offer patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement.
