Meet Simon

Simon Says… he’s ready for a fresh start! Simon is the kind of dog who could win over anyone in five minutes! He's a sweet, goofy, people-loving dog with a very endearing “baby horse in a dog suit” vibe with the way he bounces as he walks. This 50lb, 3 year old boy is friendly, affectionate, food-motivated, and eager to please. He loves sniffing around the yard, hunting for scattered kibble, having a comfy resting spot, and generally being included in whatever is going on. Simon could be an only dog or easily live with others. He does like to play, but will also happily coexist if nobody is issuing the invitation. While he has not been around kids while in foster, we think he could live with kids 10+. He can jump (and this lanky boy is tall on two legs), and has just recently mastered taking treats gently. Simon is still catching up on some basic house-dog skills but learning fast. He'll do fantastic with someone who can give him the structure and limited freedom he'll need at first to make good choices. Simon is very manageable when his world is set up for success.
