Meet Simone

Meet Simone! Simone is a sweet, gentle girl whose favorite place in the world is wherever her person happens to be. Heading to the kitchen? Simone’s coming. Going to the living room? She’s already there. Going absolutely nowhere? Perfect — she’ll happily follow you there, too. Simone is potty trained, wonderfully well-mannered, and has one very important rule: furniture is for humans unless pups are invited. She doesn’t jump on couches or beds, although she is more than happy to curl up next to her person in a chair. And when her people decide it’s bedtime, she’ll happily accept her VIP elevator ride onto the bed. After all, she has staff. Her hobbies include chewing on turkey tendons, gently carrying around her favorite little toys, and being the most adorable little shadow you could ask for. She isn’t a toy-destroying maniac — Simone prefers the refined art of carrying her treasures from one place to another. Simone has also been a wonderful mama. She raised her puppies with love and care, and now that her babies are ready to head out into the world, it’s finally Simone’s turn. ❤️ This sweet girl deserves a life where she can be spoiled, adored, and reminded every day that she is someone’s very special girl. If you’re looking for a loyal little companion who will happily follow you through life — preferably with a tiny toy in her mouth — Simone may be your girl. Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe.
