Meet Sir

Meet Sir! Don’t let the fancy name fool you - Sir is a fun-loving, easygoing 4-year-old Shih Tzu mix who is ready to find his forever home! Sir was found roaming alone near an apartment building in the Twin Cities. His original owner did not claim him so he made his way to No Dog Left Behind for a new start in life. First things first, Sir got a much needed groom and is feeling quite dapper! Sir is friendly, well-mannered, and already has some great skills under his belt. He’s mostly potty trained, kennel trained, walks great on leash, and rides well in the car. Sir gets along well with other dogs and people of all ages. As with most small dogs, Sir does vocalize some when he sees interesting things outside or hears an odd noise. Sir loves his toys. He's very excited to bring his favorite stuffy, Lamby, to his forever home. He loves playing a good game of fetch or spending time outside. Initially, Sir was more of a “I’ll lay somewhat near you” kind of guy but, as he's gotten more comfortable in his foster home, he loves to stand on your lap/chest for side scritches or curl up near your lap. If you’re looking for a sweet, independent companion who enjoys being part of the family, Sir might just be your guy. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Dental, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
