Meet Skat

As a puppy, Skat was gifted to a young woman who cannot keep him in her apartment. Her mom took him in but she's gone 12 hours a day so he is not getting the attention a puppy needs. He's a sweet, affectionate boy but if he really is a Great Dane mix, he will probably get pretty big. He needs a fenced yard because he loves to run and play fetch... though he hasn't learned to give the ball back yet. He really wants someone who is home enough to spend play time with him. He is still in that puppy stage of chewing up what he shouldn't, so he could use a little attention learning what is safe to chew. Age: 9 months Weight:40 lbs Training: House-trained, crate-trained, knows Sit Gets along with: all people but best with older sturdy kids. No experience with other dogs or cats. Questions about Skat? http://4shuad@bellsouth.net To help ensure the best match for both pets and adopters, please complete an Adoption Application: www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption Once approved, caretakers will arrange a preliminary home visit.
