Skye is a beautiful 4-year-old Husky who traveled all the way from the streets of La Paz, Mexico, to Alaska in search of something worth the journey: a family of her own. At about 55 pounds, Skye is a wonderfully easygoing companion. She enjoys getting out for walks, exploring, and joining her people for a few-mile hike, but she doesn’t need to be on the go all day. She’s just as happy settling in and relaxing with her people afterward. Skye coexists well with other dogs but doesn’t seem to need a canine playmate to be happy. She could fit nicely into a home with another respectful dog or be perfectly content soaking up all the attention as your one and only. She’s also good with kids and has a sweet, affectionate nature that makes her an easy dog to fall for. Her experience with cats is unknown.
