Meet Spirit

Spirit is a 2-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix who truly lives up to his name. He's an independent soul with a gentle heart, quietly taking in the world at his own pace. While he enjoys having his own space, he does well around other dogs and would thrive with a patient family that understands shy pups. Spirit is still building his confidence and can be skittish around new people and experiences. He hasn't fully come out of his shell yet, but everything about him suggests there's a loving, loyal companion waiting to blossom. He has shown no signs of aggression—just a cautious nature that will need time, kindness, and understanding. Leashes are currently not his favorite thing, so he'll need someone willing to help him learn that walks can be fun and safe. The good news? He rides wonderfully in the car, making trips to the park or future adventures a breeze. Spirit is looking for a calm, patient home where he can build trust at his own pace. If you're willing to let him move on his own timeline, you'll have the privilege of watching a shy dog transform into a devoted best friend.
