Meet Spotia

WATCH MY VIDEO...At just 9 months old, Spotia is an adorable Pointer/Poodle mix who is still discovering the world outside the home she shared with her siblings. She came to us after an unexpected litter left her family with three more dogs than they had planned for. Sadly, this is one of the reasons spaying and neutering is so important. Spotia is an independent little girl who loves fluffy toys, treats, affection, and simply being near her people. She’s friendly and enjoys attention, but she may need a little time to feel comfortable with new people. And honestly, who could blame her? She spent the first nine months of her life in a home with her siblings, so the shelter is a whole new experience for her. When Spotia first meets someone, she can be quite nervous. But give her just a little time and you’ll see her personality begin to shine. After settling in, she started seeking affection and enjoying being petted, and she even picked up toys and began to play. That sweet transformation tells us there is a happy, loving puppy waiting to come out of her shell. Spotia lived with children age 5 and older and is reported to be good with other dogs. As always, a meet and greet with any resident dog is recommended to make sure everyone is comfortable together. Her previous family reported that she does not like cats, so a feline-free home would be best. Spotia is young, affectionate, playful, and ready to learn what it means to have a family of her very own. Give this sweet girl a little patience, some yummy treats, a few fluffy toys, and a safe place by your side, and she may just become your new best friend.
