Meet Stark

Location: Canton, NY Hi everyone meet Stark! Although perhaps we should rename her Spark as she is a feisty little red head who can most def hold her own with her siblings! Miss Stark and her five siblings are almost eight weeks old, have received their first round of vaccines and will be ready to move out soon. Mama is tired, the siblings are getting sick of each other and foster mom is doing a lot of laundry so everyone is ready! Stark likes to snuggle, but is going to be ready for some adventures as she is showing a strong interest in toys, especially tug toys. She is very curious and does a lot of observing when things are going on around her. She is probably going to exhibit a pretty good herding drive as she loves the back of my ankles when I am cleaning the puppy pen. She loves to climb up into my lap when I am sitting in the puppy pen playing. She has been handled by adults and kids and just really enjoys touch. They are not potty trained and due to small size we haven't started using a leash quite yet. Mama appears to be a border collie/cattle dog mix and I suspect dad had some Australian Shepherd as some of them have some fluffier coats. They are all beautiful pups and should have a good temperament as they are mixed and are getting very well socialized. Mama is still giving them some direction and correction, but she is over being their main food source. They are currently eating softened kibble mixed with canned puppy food.
