Meet Stella

Stella is absolutely stunning. She was found roaming the streets, struggling to survive. A good samaritan saw her running in a high traffic road, stopped and she willingly hopped in his car. Shortly after taking Stella in, we found out she was pregnant. She wasn't in great shape herself, and had significant difficulty delivering, resulting in an emergency c-section. Her puppies, not having the benefit of nutrition and the basics of care, also struggled to survive. Despite round the clock care, only 2 puppies made it. She's one of our longest term fosters, having been with us for 5 years. She's about 7 1/2 - 8 years old as of July, 2026 and 45 ish pounds. Stella is affectionate and sweet, but she has to get to know you first. Stella can have a reactive side to her when there are fast movements. She needs an experienced pet parent(s) and a quiet home with no small children. Stella has been through so much, and we want to give her the gift of a forever home in her golden years.
