Meet Steven
Steven (A143406) is a 4-month-old Golden Retriever x AK Malamute mix who weighed 43.4 pounds on intake! 09/17/26 This shy fluffy guy is Steven! Steven arrived at the shelter as a stray and defaulted to the borough. On arrival at the shelter, we found that he had trauma to his face and was seen by the shelter vet. He was started on pain meds to help him feel more comfortable. He has been building his confidence and really starting to come out of his shell. He is looking for a patient home that can continue to help him with trust. In typical puppy fashion, he will need continued help with potty training, kennel training, and basic commands. He responds well to positive reassurance and sweet talk. If you are interested in meeting Steven, please let us know!
