Meet Stevie

If you are looking for a super-sweet and loving companion, you need to meet Stevie! This girl has soft and soulful eyes and she's the perfect medium sized dog. She's sure to wiggle her way into your heart and probably...into your seat, too! Stevie is around 2 years old, she is super motivated by not just food but also by people pleasing. So although she already knows a few basic commands like 'sit' & 'wait', we think that she will very easily pick up on new tricks and commands as you introduce them to her! She has done very well with the introduction to a kennel and will really thrive once she can be in a home and on a routine. Stevie is a little unsure of the world, but she's sure that she's going to love you! She would be most happy to be an only dog with someone that isn't gone long hours. She did previously live with an easy going male dog that was around her size but has not yet met any other dogs that she has clicked well with yet. Stevie loves toys, she's enjoyed being introduced to a doggie pool and taking a dip, she's also been equally happy to just spend some quality time with people. She does terrific as a companion in the car and will be equally content on the couch with you...once she gets her zoomies all out that is! Stevie is not a match in a home with young children or cats. Stevie's adoption fee is $250 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives, plus a free basic training course at Cedar Run #2 in Hiawatha. Stevie is seeking an indoor only home. Last Hope requires that all adopters have a history of having kept their pets altered, current on vaccinations and preventatives, and kept as indoor only pets.
