Meet Sugar
Some dogs wear their hearts on their sleeves. Sugar keeps hers protected until she knows she's safe. Life hasn't always been easy, and the shelter is a hard place for a sensitive soul. She can be a little cautious at first, but that's simply her way of making sure the world is kind. Give her patience, regular walks, and a calm home, and we believe you'll discover an amazing companion. She'd probably enjoy life in the country or somewhere with room to explore, but she'd be just as happy anywhere she feels safe, loved, and part of the family. Once she knows she's home, we believe she'll blossom into the dog she was always meant to be. We have a feeling Sugar's sweetest days are still ahead.
