Forever home wanted: meet Tara! Tara is a 2-year-old Labrador Retriever mix weighing just 43 pounds. She may be petite, but she has a whole lot of love packed into that little body. Tara can be shy when first meeting new people, so give her a little time and let her come to you. Once she realizes she’s safe, she blossoms into the sweetest, most affectionate little Velcro girl. Once you’re her person, she wants to be right by your side, following you around like your little shadow and soaking up all the love she can get. Tara is also a pretty easy house guest. She’s calm and well-mannered, great on leash, rides beautifully in the car, is crate trained and seems to be potty trained. She’s very treat motivated, enjoys playing and absolutely loves affection. She’s also dog friendly and would love having another playful canine companion in her forever home. Knowing what Tara has been through makes her sweet personality even more special. She was abandoned and left behind, yet somehow she still has so much love and trust to give. Now she just needs someone to show her that this time, she’s home for good.
