Meet Tayson

Tayson is a 3-year-old neutered male Pit Bull mix with a sweet heart and a love for his people. He can be a little shy when meeting someone new, but give him a little time and his affectionate personality quickly shines through. Once Tayson feels comfortable, he becomes your loyal shadow. He loves staying close, giving kisses, and happily putting his paws in your lap for affection. He’s a people-loving boy who enjoys being near his favorite person. Tayson enjoys chasing toys and is still discovering the fun of bringing them back. He also does well on walks, especially once he’s outside in a quieter environment. With a harness, he settles into a nice, loose-leash walk and is ready to enjoy some peaceful time exploring. Tayson came to the shelter with another dog after his family was moving and could no longer keep them. His previous owners reported that he was housebroken. Tayson may take a little time to feel comfortable, but watching him blossom from shy to affectionate is truly special.
