Meet Teddy! Teddy is an incredibly special pup looking for his forever home. He is remarkably intelligent and has a true love for learning — he even completed and passed the advanced training class at Petco! He’s a smart, eager-to-please dog who thrives when he has structure, attention, and opportunities to use his brain. Beyond his intelligence, Teddy is one of the most loving dogs you’ll ever meet. He loves giving hugs, sharing kisses, and being close to his people. He has a big heart and wants nothing more than to be part of a family where he can feel loved and included. Teddy is looking for a home that understands his needs. He has some separation anxiety and can become stressed when left alone for long periods of time. He would do best with a family where someone works from home, works part-time, or has a schedule that allows him to have companionship throughout the day. A crate is not his favorite place and can increase his anxiety, so he would thrive with a home that can work with him patiently and continue building his confidence. Teddy is an active guy who loves adventure! He needs plenty of exercise, outdoor time, and enrichment. His favorite things include going on walks, playing in the backyard, visiting the dog park, and spending time with other dogs. He absolutely loves playing and socializing with his furry friends. Teddy is a wonderful combination of smart, affectionate, playful, and loyal. He is looking for someone who will appreciate his loving personality, understand his needs, and give him the time and companionship he deserves. The new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing.
