Meet Thelma

Sweet Thelma is a 3-year-old, 18–20 pound, spayed female, possibly a Mini Australian Shepherd mix, who is more than ready to finally experience the kind of love she deserves. Thelma came to a local veterinary clinic in Kentucky as a neglect case and unfortunately had a rough start to life. But despite everything she’s been through, you’d never know it by the amount of love this sweet girl has to give. Thelma is an incredibly gentle and calm soul who simply wants to feel safe, cared for and part of a family. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats and kids alike, and absolutely LOVES going for walks. But one of the quickest ways to Thelma’s heart? Gentle head rubs and attention. She soaks up every little bit of affection she can get and is just happy to be loved. Thelma has already experienced what it feels like to be overlooked and neglected.
