Recently in the playpen, he used his sniffer to explore every inch until—*AHA!* ??—he stepped right on a squeaky toy! ?? The rest was history. You could almost see the lightbulb go off: *`This is PERFECT, I can HEAR it!`* ???? He spent the rest of his outing happily squeaking away, wagging his tail, and taking a pause every few minutes to look toward his human friend, as if gently asking, `Are you still there?
