Meet Thor

Meet Thor, a 2-year-old Husky mix who arrived at the shelter with anotherHusky and quickly discovered that shelter life is definitely not his idea ofa good time. This happy boy is currently in the shelter`s Shy Dog Program,where he`s making great progress and learning that people can be prettywonderful after all. Thor may still be perfecting his walking technique-let`s just say he has hisown creative interpretation of what `going for a walk` means-but once hegets moving, he is one happy guy! He loves to run, and when you call hisname, he`ll happily run right over to you. He also seeks attention, leansright in for petting, and clearly enjoys being around people. Thor has appeared friendly with multiple dogs through the fence and seems toenjoy canine company. His previous family reported that he was friendly withadults, kids, dogs, and even cats, so he apparently believes everyonedeserves a chance to be his friend. Thor is stressed by the shelter environment, but underneath that stress is ahappy, affectionate, energetic boy who is making progress every day. He`llneed a patient family willing to give him time to settle in, continue histraining, and help him discover how great life outside the shelter can be. In return, you`ll get a fun-loving Husky who is ready to run, ride in thecar, make friends, and lean into you for some well-earned scratches.
