Meet Tibet

Tibet is an 11 month old male Shepherd mix with a heart every bit as beautiful as his soulful eyes. This sweet, gentle boy has a quiet way of making you feel special, looking up at you with the most adoring expression that says, "I'm so happy you're here." One rainy afternoon when outdoor play wasn't an option, a volunteer spent time with Tibet inside the shelter. While the rain fell outside, Tibet was perfectly content soaking up gentle pets, kind words, and the simple joy of being close to someone. It was a reminder that what he treasures most isn't excitement … it's companionship. Tibet currently shares his pen with his brother, Nepal, and gets along wonderfully with him. He enjoys stretching his legs during playtime in the park, but once he's had a chance to romp around, Tibet is happiest sitting quietly beside you, simply enjoying your company. This lovable boy is eager to please, full of affection, and ready to give his whole heart to a family of his own. All he needs is someone to see the wonderful dog that he is. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
