Meet Tiggy

SATO SPOTLIGHT! Meet Tiggy! Today’s spotlight shines on Tiggy, a beautiful 2-year-old, 38-pound Sato who I can only describe as a “grandma dog.” ❤️ Not because of her age — she’s only two! — but because of her sweet, gentle personality. Tiggy is the kind of dog who would bake you cookies, crochet you an afghan, and tuck you into bed at night if she could. She has such a motherly, thoughtful nature. She’s levelheaded, eager to please, and not the type to make impulsive decisions. Tiggy seems to think things through and just wants everyone around her to be happy. She’s generally quiet and doesn’t require a ton of activity, although she can absolutely bust out some zoomies when her doggy friends convince her it’s time to play! She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, children, and just about everyone she meets. We have not cat tested Tiggy, but based on her gentle temperament, we believe she could potentially do well with cats with a proper, slow introduction. Tiggy is a little bowlegged in her back end. We did thorough testing and found no evidence of a previous injury. It’s believed this was most likely caused by inadequate nutrition during her growing phase. It doesn’t bother her, slow her down, or prevent her from doing anything — we think it just adds to her charm. ❤️ At about 38 pounds, Tiggy is a wonderful medium size and would fit beautifully into so many different types of homes. Tiggy came to us from Puerto Rico and is now ready to find the family who will appreciate the incredibly sweet soul she is.
