Meet Tonto

Meet Tonto ! ❤️ Another lovely, sweet boy has arrived at Norsled—and this time, his name is Tonto ! Tonto is a handsome one-year-old Saddleback Husky/German Shepherd mix weighing about 60 pounds. And if you could feel his fur, you’d understand why we can’t stop petting him. His coat is incredibly soft, and his personality is just as wonderful. He is gentle, affectionate, and happily receptive to all the love you want to give him. Tonto came to us as a stray from a Central Valley shelter. And, well… how could we possibly resist this happy, social young boy? He’s an easy guy to get ready for a walk and does quite well on leash. He’s young, eager to learn, and already showing us what a well-rounded pup he can be. Tonto would be a wonderful companion for an active person or family—and you don’t need years of Husky or German Shepherd experience to appreciate this terrific boy. What Tonto really wants is pretty simple: to enjoy life! He wants to meet new friends, both canine and human, be part of the action, and discover all the good things life has to offer.
