Angelo was found on the street unable to use one of his front legs. After being taken to the vet, it was determined that he had severe nerve damage and had completely lost feeling in the leg. Unfortunately, there was no way to save it, and his front leg had to be amputated. But Angelo definitely doesn’t let three legs slow him down. He is sweet, outgoing, incredibly people-oriented, and a fast learner with lots of energy. He can run fast, jump surprisingly high, and LOVES chasing anything you throw for him. Give him a toy to chew on and he’s a happy boy. Angelo is fine around other dogs, but people are his favorite. He would much rather follow his humans around and be part of whatever they are doing. Maybe he went so long without human love while living on the street that now he simply can’t get enough of it. ❤️ He absolutely cherishes attention and cuddles. Angelo is a small dog with a huge personality and so much love to give. Don’t let those three legs fool you. This little guy is unstoppable. ❤️ Scared/curious with cats. He is fast, playful, and doesn't let anything slow him down. Angelo is at the perfect age where he has plenty of puppy energy but is eager to learn and bond with his new humans. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too. Please consider providing a home for more than one dog, especially if you are considering adopting a puppy. Dogs are pack animals and very much enjoy as well as need other dog company to learn to play, socialize and be good companion animals to people.
