Meet Tuesday! This adorable 17-pound Chihuahua mix is a spunky little girl with a big personality packed into a small body! Tuesday loves playing fetch, chewing on bones—even ones bigger than she is—and, most of all, being around her people. She enjoys toys, long walks, afternoon naps, and curling up in bed with you. She also loves kids! Tuesday can be a little skittish when meeting new people, but once she gets comfortable, her sweet and affectionate personality shines through. Because she was previously left in a crate for long periods, she is not a fan of being crated. If she needs to be crated when home alone, she will require a strong, secure crate. Ideally, Tuesday would love a home where someone is around most of the time, as she does not enjoy being left alone for long periods. Tuesday is very food-motivated, which makes training a lot of fun—but she is also determined when it comes to finding any food that has been left within reach! So, her new family will need to be mindful about keeping food safely out of sight. Tuesday does well with other dogs when given a proper, slow introduction. She is currently enjoying life in a foster home with other dogs. She is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and already spayed, so she is ready to find her forever family! Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The microchip is transferred to the adopter once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a one-time $15 microchip enrollment fee. Microchips are enrolled with AKC Reunite. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
