Meet Vader! This handsome 1year-old Cane Corso is exactly the kind of easygoing boy that makes a great first Corso. Vader lived in a home with several adults and multiple other dogs, and he did great with all of them — big dogs, small dogs, no drama, no stress. He's just along for the ride. Vader isn't a particularly driven or protective dog in the home, which makes him a wonderfully low-key presence for someone newer to the breed. He has no stranger danger and settles in easily — he even did well crate trained, though he can be a bit shy at first until he warms up. Vader's previous family made the tough decision to rehome him and a few of their other dogs after realizing they had taken on more than they could manage. It wasn't about Vader — he was simply one of several dogs in a home that had grown too big. While Vader has been around kids and did fine, he hasn't lived full-time with little ones, so we'd recommend a home with older kids rather than toddlers or young children.
