Meet Valentino

Meet Valentino! He is a happy, friendly, 2 yr old male, tripod, Great Pyrenees mix. Named Valentino because of the heart on his head. Shortly after SPIN Rescue pulled him from a shelter, it was discovered that he had an infection that spread into his entire body from untreated animal bites. Unfortunately, prolonged inflammation in his elbow caused permanent nerve damage requiring his leg to be amputated. But this hasn't slowed him down and he is surprisingly agile! He is good with big and small dogs. He likes to wrestle and play with toys. He has not been cat tested. Val is very friendly with people. He enjoys cuddling and 'holding paws'. He is gentle when taking treats and very treat motivated. He sometimes jumps up, so small kids will need to be supervised around him. Only having 3 legs hasn't slowed him down a bit, he is a good runner, active, and playful. He does great on walks and will even lay down when you try to go back inside because he wants to keep going. He is house trained and does well when left home alone. He doesn't like getting in the car but is good to go once he's in. Valentino is neutered and up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $250.
