Violet is a 1 year old, 14 pound poodle mixed sweetheart who has completely blossomed since coming into rescue. It's hard to believe this is the same little dog who arrived so terrified that she would cower in the back of her kennel and literally pee herself from fear. She was so shut down that she seemed determined to disappear. We gave her something simple: time, patience, safety, and the freedom to come out of her shell at her own pace. And look at her now! Violet is playful, affectionate, silly, and absolutely in love with her humans. She loves attention, loves being close to her people, and has become the happiest little shadow.
