Meet Wilson

Wilson is about 8 months old, 32 pounds, and apparently decided he was done waiting around to be rescued...so he just showed up at one of our rescuer’s houses. We don’t know exactly how Wilson ended up there. Most likely he was dumped nearby, but one day there he was — and Wilson basically said, “Hi! I live here now!” And honestly, he fit right in! Wilson happily joined the crew at his foster home and quickly made himself part of the family. He LOVES other dogs, loves to play and seems to think every new friend, human or canine, is someone he’s been waiting his whole life to meet. He is just a genuinely happy, social, fun-loving puppy. And Wilson has another favorite activity... SWIMMING! This boy loves the water! So if you’re looking for a buddy for summer adventures, trips to the lake, playing in the yard or just generally having a good time, Wilson is ready to volunteer. At only 8 months old, he still has plenty of puppy silliness and growing up to do, but he has such a friendly, go-with-the-flow personality. Considering he basically wandered into rescue and immediately thought, “Yep, this works for me,” we’d say Wilson is pretty good at making the best of things. Now he just needs to mysteriously show up at his forever home. Wilson will be in NY at the end of October and we would love to have a family waiting for him! Please note: All dogs are rescues so we often do not know their actual breeds but use an educated guess to tell you what they most look like. Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested (if age appropriate), put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico.
