Meet Winona! Winona is a beautiful 1½-year-old, 43-pound American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a gentle heart and a calm personality. She recently arrived in foster care and has already shown what a sweet girl she is. Winona is settling into home life wonderfully. She has been calm, affectionate, and incredibly gentle with children, including a toddler. She enjoys being near her people and is happiest lounging nearby while the family goes about their day. Whether she’s relaxing on the couch or quietly observing what’s going on around her, Winona has a peaceful presence that makes her easy to love. She walks nicely on a leash, enjoys exploring and sniffing her surroundings, and has adapted well to her new environment. Winona is learning her routine and has been doing well with potty breaks outside. This sweet girl has the perfect balance of companionship and independence. She’s not overly demanding and is content to relax after a walk or spend time close to her humans. Like many young dogs, she enjoys toys and would love a family that can provide her with love, structure, and a cozy place to call home.
