Meet Winston A 1.5 year old sweet agent of chaos who needs some work but is worth the effort! We believe him to be half coonhound and half lab. Winston is… High Energy Crate & Potty Trained Kid Friendly Dog friendly (AFTER a slow intro) His biggest areas of opportunity are impulse control, learning to embrace moments of calm even when exciting things are happening, and greeting other dogs, especially while on leash. While he lives with a cat now he does want to chase him. He doesn’t seem to want to hurt him but is still working on “leave it” so he’d do best in home with no cats at this time. Winston loves all people and is sweet as pie, but he needs a home with another playful dog and/or acreage to run. His recall is decent and he’ll run a property and come back when called, as long as he’s not mid small critter chase (he is part coonhound after all!). If you’re in a place to take on a project with a whole lot of love and play to give, Winston may be the dog for you!!
