Meet Winter

Foster or adopter needed: Hi… my name is Winter. I’m 6 years old. I’m deaf. And right now, I need somewhere safe to go before I lose the only place I have. My foster family loves me very much, but because of an unexpected change in their living situation, they can no longer keep me. I don’t understand what’s happening. I just know my world is changing again… and I’m scared. I may not hear your voice, but I feel everything. I feel kindness. I feel comfort. I feel when someone loves me. And when I trust you, I love with my whole heart. I’m not asking for much. Just a calm home. A soft place to sleep. A person who won’t give up on me. Truthfully, I’d do best as your one and only pet so I can finally relax and feel secure. A calm male dog *might* be okay with proper introductions, but what I really dream of is a peaceful home where I can just be your girl. Here’s a little about me: Deaf but incredibly loving and intuitive Housebroken & crate trained Low-medium energy — 1–2 walks a day is perfect Professional cuddler and nap companion Good with kids 6+ No cats please Spayed 60 lbs of love just waiting for someone to choose me Dogs like me are so often overlooked. People see “deaf,” or “pit bull,” or “needs to be the only pet,” and keep scrolling. But I am still worthy of love. I am still worthy of safety. And I am desperately hoping someone out there sees me. Please… don’t let me run out of options. I’m currently in the Baltimore area, but transport help may be available for fosters/adopters in and around Maryland. Love, Winter
