Meet Woodstock

Meet Woodstock a 1 1/2 year old beagle who came to us as a stray. Woodstock is ready to follow his nose to a better life! He is a typical beagle with his nose to the ground and kind to everyone and every thing he meets. Woodstock likes other dogs and cats! He is a little afraid of cats and it has us wondering if he has been hit before. Woodstock has us wondering if maybe he was used for hunting at one time but we cant be sure. If you take a look at Woodstock, you may notice his cherry eye, that red tissue in his eye. Our vet has assured us that his cherry eye isn’t causing him any pain or affecting his vision, so they recommended leaving it alone for now. Cherry eye surgery is invasive and not recommended to have done unless completely necessary as they can always grow back. His adopter will need to keep an eye on it, and this may need addressed later on in his life. Woodstock is neutered and ready to go!
