Meet Wynston Wynston is a sweet 12 lb, almost two-year-old Dachshund mix who is looking for a very special person to help him learn that the world—and people—can be a safe place. He can be nervous and scared around people, especially when approached or handled too quickly. If he feels pressured or doesn’t have a choice, he may become nippy. He needs someone who understands that trust has to be earned on his terms and who is willing to let him set the pace. Patience, consistency, and respect for his boundaries will be incredibly important as he learns to feel comfortable. The good news? He is making great progress! He is doing well with house training and kennel training, and he is showing that with the right guidance, he can continue to thrive.
