Meet Yukon

Hi! My name is Yukon and I’m in desperate need of a loving home! I’m about three to five years old with a heart full of energy and love, just waiting to find the perfect family. I absolutely adore kids—running, playing, and getting all the belly rubs are my favorite things in the world! If you’ve got a yard or love going for long walks, I’ll be right there beside you, ready to run, jump, and enjoy every moment. I’m an active girl who would thrive in a home where playtime and fun are part of everyday life. There’s one small thing you should know: I’m not the best around chickens. For some reason, they just get me all worked up, so a chicken-free home would be the best place for me. My situation has become urgent. The shelter in our area had to close down after the director was fired, leaving us and many other animals in a state of emergency. Thankfully, a kind lady is letting the community use her property as a temporary refuge, but I can’t stay here forever. I need a safe, permanent home where I can continue to thrive and love my humans. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and loving dog (or two), I’m your girl.
