Meet Zaylah

Found near a trash can and staying with her finder overnight until she could be brought safely to the shelter, meet Zaylah! This cutie did great with not only his other dog, but also his cat AND children ages 6, 7 and 10 while there! With no chip and no ID tag, that meant no way to contact a family, if she had one and none came to claim her. Putting all that behind her, this cutie is available for adoption when we open tomorrow! We remind you that there is no application involved in our adoption process - we are a first come, first served and in person adoption center. If you have puppy patience and are interested in learning more about how she could be part of your family, please come in person to the shelter tomorrow when we open and please do not comment here or message us- you may just miss out on adopting. We always recommend meet and greets with and children prior to adoption to ensure a great fit for all, also! All of our adoptable dogs/puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and UTD on all age-appropriate vaccines/preventatives. Adopters will need to establish vet care upon adopting to maintain their new family member’s health and wellness. If you can’t promise forever, please consider waiting until you can, before you adopt! And remember the 3-3-3 Rule when adopting a shelter pet. 3 days for your new pet to decompress3 weeks for your new family member to settle in3 months for them to build trustZaylah’s adoption fee is $20 during our current adoption special now through end of day September 12, 2026!
