Meet Zelda

Zelda is a sweet 5-month-old Beagle mix who is looking for a family of her very own! She is crate trained and about 98% potty trained, and she is doing a great job learning all the things a young pup needs to know. Zelda may take a few minutes to warm up to new people, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet and easygoing personality shines through. She loves being with her foster family and has a very cute way of showing affection—resting her nose right on your arm while she relaxes. Zelda loves kids and other dogs, especially dogs around her size. She enjoys playing with her dog friends and having fun with her stuffed toys. When playtime is over, she is more than happy to curl up on the couch and lounge with her people. She does well with older children, 8 and up, but may struggle with the unpredictability and activity level of younger children. Because Zelda can be a little shy and insecure, she needs a family who will give her time to build confidence. She may try to run away from people she isn’t comfortable with, so her new family will need to be patient and make sure she is always safely secured. She also seems a little unsure around larger dogs and would likely feel most comfortable with a smaller or similarly sized canine companion.
