ZINNI NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Zinni Best Guess for Breed: Terrier mix Best Guess for Age: 6 years as of August 2026 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 17.8 lbs Gets Along With: Zinni does well with other dogs and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog. We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Special adoption considerations: Zinni was rescued from a hoarding situation in South Carolina. She has not been well socialized with new people and has lived his whole life with other dogs. New nosies, cars, bikes, and other things may create fear and anxiety. She will need a patient adopter who can give her time to come out of his shell and learn that the world is a wonderful and welcoming place. And because she is shy, she needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog who will show her the ropes. Zinni is Looking For: Her forever home, filled with snuggles and opportunities to see the world! One where she is a cherished part of a family. She's very sweet, and SO ready to be a Real Dog. Extra patient and loving humans who introduce her to new places and people at her pace are exactly what she wants! Along with quality kibble, a cushy dog bed, and endless snuggles. Recently she started joining me and my resident dog on a neighborhood walk. She is not treat or toy motivated but she will take a little cheese and enjoys the lick mats with easy cheese. She is eating normally from a bowl and drinks water regularly. She is a very sweet dog and has shown no aggression. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.
