MCSO MASH Minute: Meet Loretta, dog rescued from neglect and ready for her forever home

Loretta, a 3-4-year-old dog, is now ready to find a loving family after being rescued from a neglect case in the far west Valley of Phoenix. She and her sister Ella were found locked in small cages without proper care, leading to the arrest of a woman on animal cruelty charges. Loretta was taken in by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office MASH Unit, where she gave birth to a litter of puppies. Now that her puppies are growing independently, Loretta is healthy and eager to find her forever home.

She is described as super sweet, loving, and cuddly once she feels at home. Loretta can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but with patience and kindness, her gentle and playful nature emerges. The MASH Unit staff recommends that she be adopted by someone willing to give her time to warm up.
