Meet A Cash

Cash is available for adoption. He is 6 years old and weighs 7 lbs. His adoption fee is $700.00. Meet Cashmere — “Cash” or “Cashie” At just 6 years old and 7 pounds, Cashmere—affectionately known as Cash or Cashie—is a little Yorkie with a BIG heart and an even bigger capacity for love. Cash’s story is one of second chances, unconditional love, and a family who loved him enough to make an incredibly difficult decision. Two years ago, Cash was rescued from a very sad situation where he had been neglected. His family opened their hearts and home to him and showed him something he may not have known before: what it feels like to be safe, loved, spoiled, and truly part of a family. They worked with him, trained him, showered him with love, and gave him the happy life he deserved. Sadly, his owner is currently going through cancer treatment and is physically unable to give Cash the time, attention, and care he needs. This was an incredibly difficult decision for his family, but they loved him enough to recognize that Cash deserves more than they are able to physically give him right now. They made the selfless decision to let another family continue the life of love they started for him. And what a little sweetheart he is! Cash has adjusted beautifully to his foster home and is settling in very quickly. He gets along wonderfully with his two much-larger foster brothers and is proving to be an easygoing little guy. His former family also reports that he does well with cats. Cash LOVES his walks and is a fantastic little walking companion. He walks beautifully on a leash and seems to enjoy every minute of being out and about with his people. He also loves car rides and would happily be your little co-pilot on adventures. In fact, some of his favorite things include going for walks, riding in the car, tagging along with his humans on trips to the store, getting a bath and blowout, and—perhaps most of all—being right next to his person. Because of that last one, Cash definitely qualifies as a VELCRO DOG! If you're looking for a little shadow who wants to be wherever you are, Cash may be your guy. Cash is crate trained and sleeps peacefully in his crate at night. He does not yet let you know when he needs to go outside, but once he is brought outdoors, he does his business. His new family will simply need to continue giving him regular potty breaks and helping him learn to communicate when he needs to go out. His one big “ask” for his forever family? Please don't leave me alone for long periods of time. Cash really doesn't enjoy being by himself and would be happiest in a home wheresomeone is around most of the day. He wants a family who will include him in their lives and let him continue being the cherished little companion he has learned to be. Cash is a cutie patootie who has already had one family show him what it means to be loved. Now he is looking for another family to pick up where his last family left off—to keep spoiling him, loving him, taking him on walks and adventures, and reminding him every day that he is safe, cherished, and home.
