Meet Brando

Brando is a 6 month old male Beagle x GSD X Border Collie mix who seemed to get more of the hound and GSD than most of his siblings got. He is also the largest by about 10 pounds, weighing in at about 32 pounds currently. We believe he will be a 40-45 pound adult. He's a bit of a hunky lunk, isn't he? Brando is a goofy happy boy. He is very people oriented, just wants attention and companionship quite honestly. He's sort of a doofy boy puppy - but that's what makes him as charming as he is. He will probably do fine with other dogs and we also think he would be a good match for kids as well. Cats are an unknown, but we think he could learn to live with them if his owners are consistent in letting him know what is okay and what is not. Being 6 months old gives Brando an advantage of those puppies that are half his age - he actually has an attention span and an ability to retain all the things he is trained in a more efficient manner. He will need house trained, crate trained, obedience trained and socialized. We are pretty certain that the people who dumped him and his family out on the road didn't bother to do much of anything with him or any of them.
