In her case, that means a very high energy dog with a whole lot of personality and a coat that stops people in their tracks. Where you'd expect black on a typical coonhound, she's got blue instead- soft grey-blue ticking throughout with tan markings, long floppy ears, and big brown eyes to complete the look. She's one of a kind, and not just because of the coat. Clancy is house trained, crate trained, and great with kids. She's a big fan of other dogs and she plays like someone who knows exactly how lucky she is to feel good and be safe. Give her a minute to settle in and you get the good stuff- a genuinely great smile, a full body wiggle the second her kennel door opens, and an enthusiastic (if slightly dishonest) approach to tug o war. She also loves to run everywhere, which makes sense for a girl who's got no time to waste and a whole lot of living to catch up on. Before landing in foster, Clancy survived an overcrowded shelter where she picked up a bad case of kennel cough that left her sick and miserable for a stretch. She's fully recovered now and feeling like herself, determined to have a good day every single day.
