Meet Hootie

🐾🤍 Well, hello there! My name is Hootie! 🤍🐾 I'm a handsome 9-month-old Boston Terrier/Blue Heeler mix, weighing in at 32 pounds, with a mostly white coat and adorable brown and black patches! I'm a smart, friendly fella with a big personality and a whole lot of love to give. 🥰 Brains AND good looks? Yep, I've got both! 😉 I'm highly intelligent, eager to please, and a quick learner, which makes training a breeze. I already know sit, and I'm house-trained, too! I'm also a high-energy boy who needs a family ready to keep both my mind and body busy. Walks, playtime, training sessions, puzzle toys, and adventures would be right up my alley! Keeping me engaged will help me be the very best boy I can be. I'm a go-with-the-flow kind of guy who loves making friends just about everywhere I go! ❤️ I'm gentle and wonderful with people of all ages, including kiddos and the elderly. I also get along great with other dogs and would be a fantastic addition to doggy playgroups. And guess what? I like cats, too! 🐶🐱 Now, I do have one little thing my future family should know: I have a high prey drive when it comes to poultry. Chickens are just a little TOO tempting for me! 😂🐔 So, I'll need a home where poultry is safely secured and not free-ranging around me. I'm a great leash walker, hop into vehicles with ease, and absolutely LOVE going on adventures! Whether we're exploring new places, learning new tricks, or simply spending time together, I'm ready to be your loyal sidekick. If you're looking for a clever, affectionate, social young pup who can keep up with your adventures and bring plenty of fun into your life, I'm your Hootie boy! All I need is a loving home that will give me the exercise, enrichment, and companionship I need to thrive. Could you be my fur-ever family? 💕📞 Call the Humane Society of the Ouachitas at 479-394-5682 to find out more about me!
