Meet Jairo

Jairo is a handsome, 4-year-old German Shepherd mix, weighing 81 pounds. He is proving to be a model houseguest in his foster home. He may a bit shy and hesitant to interact when meeting new people but warming up quickly. He starts his day with bursts of zoomies and playbows, along with a few pets. He's house trained and non-destructive when left alone. Jairo has great leash manners and knows “sit”. He may become a bit bouncy when he gets too excited with his person but responds well to redirection. Jairo is looking for an adopter to continue his journey building trust - someone who can take their time, read his cues, and let him connect on his timeframe. There's an amazing dog in there - he just needs to know he can trust his human. Given his timid nature, he's best suited for an adult only home or one with older children.
